Communication highway analogy?

I was inspired by Henry Soenarko’s ( @soenarko ) Jonathon Swift quote on vision. I used that as a basis for an analogy on communication.

Communication is the art of enabling others to see the invisible.
I can think of communication as a transport highway (road, rail, sea or air). This message is the direction (not necessarily the destination). People experience the message (route) differently depending upon where they get on (or off of) the route (their perceptions/experience before joining the route) and also by how they travel (means of transport.)
Only when you get to the destination (and of course you can take several different routes and modes of transport) can you appreciate what the best way to travel was.Read more at www.testrepublic.com
